These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the hire of any vehicle from Labadi Rental ("we", "us", "our"), ABN/business address 1/14 Wheeler Crescent, Currumbin Waters QLD 4223, Australia. By submitting a booking request or hiring a vehicle from us, you ("the Hirer") agree to these Terms.
Hirers must hold a current, valid driver's licence appropriate to the vehicle class being hired and meet any minimum age requirements we specify for that vehicle at the time of booking. We may request to sight evidence of your licence and identification before confirming a rental.
Bookings made through this website require SMS phone verification to confirm your identity and contact details. A booking is only confirmed once verified by our team — submitting the online form is a request, not an automatic confirmation.
Vehicles are provided in a roadworthy, clean condition. A security bond may be required at pick-up and will be refunded, less any deductions for damage, fines, cleaning or fuel shortfall, after the vehicle is returned and inspected. Vehicles should be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up unless otherwise agreed; a refuelling surcharge may apply if this condition is not met. Exact bond amounts and fuel policy for your vehicle will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Standard pick-up and drop-off occurs at 1/14 Wheeler Crescent, Currumbin Waters QLD 4223, during our opening hours (Monday–Sunday, 7am–5pm). After-hours pick-up is available by prior appointment only; after-hours drop-off is available seven days a week. Late returns may incur additional hire charges.
We understand plans change. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or amend a booking. Cancellation fees or forfeiture of any deposit may apply for late cancellations or no-shows — current cancellation terms will be confirmed with you when you book.
The vehicle must only be driven by the Hirer or a nominated additional driver approved by us, must not be used for any illegal purpose, sub-let, or driven outside of Australia, and must be operated in accordance with all applicable road rules. Off-road use, towing beyond the vehicle's rated capacity, and overloading are not permitted unless separately agreed in writing.
Rental vehicles are covered by insurance subject to the policy terms current at the time of hire, including any excess payable by the Hirer in the event of an at-fault accident, theft or damage. The Hirer is responsible for all fines, tolls and infringements incurred during the hire period. Full insurance and excess details will be provided at booking confirmation.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Labadi Rental is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the hire of a vehicle, including loss of income or missed appointments due to vehicle unavailability, breakdown or delay. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or the law. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that hire.
